CharlotteThe fields are starting to fill up with little lights taking a rest on the tall grass. The warm weather is bringing some exciting calls to the marsh. The last two saunters down to the marsh the Green Frogs are calling. Their calls sounding like loose banjo strings. The Treefrogs are out in full force and over taking any remaining Spring Peppers. In the recordings I’m not able to hear Spring Peepers. Toads are providing a nice background noise to all the calls. A few Boreal Chorus Frogs could be heard but only one of my recordings picked up that noise for a brief few seconds.
