The walk to the marsh was a calm walk. The wild flowers smelled wonderful. The moon was large. This month the moon is called a Super Flower Blood Moon. I didn’t get to enjoy the red/orange glow that lasts about 16 minutes but I did enjoy the soft yellow glow of the super moon. The lightening bugs were a beautiful addition to the landscape. The weather for the next few days shows temperatures that make me wish I would have held off on planting my vegetables. I added a rock enclosure to my garden. There has been a cinderblock in there for the last five years in hopes some frogs move in.

This evening there were individual Green Frogs calling. Not much activity tonight. I could hear a Treefrog calling about every 30 seconds but it wasn’t clear enough to be confident it was a Treefrog. I’ve observed that when cold weather is coming the marsh is quiet.
