CharlotteFireflies are lighting up the fields of tall grass. Right now we are hearing Toads, Cope’s Gray Treefrogs, Gray Treefrogs, and a few Green Frogs. I’m still catching up on my last month of recordings. There was a beautiful full moon the other night that I wasn’t able to capture on my phone’s camera but I tried.
The Pickerel frog is still hanging out in the pond. I startle it occasionally and then it jumps out of where ever it was hiding.
We had a Gray Treefrog visitor! I don’t usually see Gray Treefrogs in their gray camouflage, they tend to be more green when finding them.
