There was an overwhelming joy listening to the frogs on the first night along with the ear piercing noises of the full chorus Spring Peepers. My husband joined me on the first night out to kick off the spring and summer weeks of listening for frogs and toads. I will attempt to record all my trips down to the marsh due to my lack of experience. It has helped so far with determining what is out there. There is an easy to follow guide of the calls during certain times of the year but with the unexpected warm temperatures this last week it seems to have confused some of the frogs. Once I get more experience I will come back and re-listen to my videos and try to correct any mistakes with what I heard.
